About the author
Dr. Sanjay Vaidya is a practicing cardiologist and physician. He did his M.D. in internal medicine and post-doctoral in cardiology from University of Mumbai after which he taught at the same University before starting clinical practice. This book outlines a life-long interest in exploring metaphysical issues and human thinking from the perspective of a clinician.

The book draws substantively from his experience of managing patients with stress-induced diseases like ‘coronaries’, strokes, hypertension, diabetes and obesity, gathered over more than two decades. He finds anxiety and depression to be a significant disease burden in these patients. Travelling across Europe, U.S and South-east Asia has helped him understand the influence of both lifestyle and work-culture on health. Over the years he has shared his experiences in scores of seminars, workshops and camps conducted for patients, corporate executives, senior citizens and general public.

He’s a curious reader exploring diverse areas of understanding like physics, evolutionary biology, space travel and neuroscience. Software programming tops his DIY learning list with several developed versions of electronic medical records and comprehensive medical diagnosis software dotting his desktop. Traveling has always been a mainstream holiday plan for him; glass painting and poetry come next. A daily playtime with pets Inka and Aztec refill his curiosity to a brimming high.
